My opinion :
1. What is Productivity in your description? Is it a culture?
Productivity is a
term in production activities as a comparison between output and input.
Productivity is a measure that states how well resources are managed and
utilized to achieve optimal results. Productivity can be used as a measure of
the success of an industry or SME in producing goods or services. So that the
higher the comparison, the higher the product produced.
Productivity is
closely related to culture. Culture within the company has become a common
issue that is considered very important by many business people. Not only as an
issue, many companies have immediately changed the culture within the company
in order to increase team productivity. In fact, some companies also consider a
positive culture within the company as an invisible asset that is very valuable
for the future of their business.
2. Does high level of Productivity contribute to the size of a country’s
economy?
High levels of
productivity greatly contribute to the size of a country's economy. Increased
productivity is the main prerequisite for the growth and development of a
country's economy. In other words, the economic growth of a country is a
function of increasing productivity which is reflected in the increase in national
output. To be able to grow sustainably the economic system of a country
requires an increase in the productivity of key sectors such as manufacturing,
agriculture, services, transportation, communications and construction. Where
the productivity of these sectors is a function of a number of things such as
the quality of the workforce, infrastructure, regulation and political
stability.
3. With the emphasis on Human Capital in our next 5-year government, can
this plan improve our people’s productivity? Do you think this plan will meet
the challenge of the culture of Indonesian people?
Human resource development (HR) will be one
of the government's priorities for the next five years. The reason is that to
build a nation, qualified human resources are also needed. Quality human
resources are believed to increase the productivity of the Indonesian nation in
all elements.
So
far, Indonesian human resources are considered to have low expertise. All of
this is influenced by many reasons including low work culture and education. In
the future, with quality human resources, Indonesia is believed to be the
leading country in the Asian region, especially in the economic sector.
Indonesia's potential to break out
of the middle-income country trap is enormous. Currently, Indonesia is at the
peak of the demographic bonus, where our productive age population is much
higher than the unproductive age.
